In 2019, the ASMP formalised its principles of ethical business conduct in a code of conduct. Since then, the members of the Swiss Precious Metals Association (ASMP) have adhered to this code, which promotes an ethical and sustainable vision for the entire Swiss precious metals supply chain. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

ASMP members agree to incorporate the principles of the code of conduct into their business activities.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

However, the Association is not liable for any non-compliant actions by any of its members and reserves the right to take measures against violations.<\/p>

Any violation may result in sanctions, up to and including exclusion from the association<\/strong>, so as to ensure the integrity of the sector.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Business ethics:<\/h4>

non-tolerance of forced labour, child labour, exploitation and unfair discrimination; application of high standards of occupational health, safety and production; support for the promotion of human rights in our activities and business relationships and the existence of humane and social working conditions. We are also committed to taking rigorous action against any activity that triggers, finances or supports illegal armed conflict or terrorism. We are committed to fair competition and the fight against corruption. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Compliance with regulations and continuous development of existing procedures:<\/h4>

the development of chemically safe and environmentally friendly activities in the processing and production of precious metals and their products. We comply with the Precious Metals Control Act (PMCA) and the LRD in the fight against money laundering and take strict measures against fraud, theft, corruption and contributions to armed conflicts. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
